It is your turn to practice a Book Hook. Simply use one of the books
you brought with you today and select a page, excerpt, special passage,
image, or section to entice your partner to read the book.
Be ready to answer the following questions:
  • Were you able to hook your friend?
  • What did you do to ensure that they were enticed to read the book you presented?

2. How can you use:
  • whole group time / small group time / whole group time
  • How can you use your flexible time here to support U-STARS and SEM-R Book Hooks?
3. As you think about the structure of your day, how and when do the SEM-R and U-STARS components fit?
What do we do on the off-science months?
